This documentation explains step by step how to program your 2in LCD ESP32-S3 MP3 Player device.
Please follow the steps bellow and you should have no issues at all.

1. Install

Click the button below to flash the LCD MP3 Software onto your ESP device using WebSerial. Ensure your device is connected via USB and you're using a supported browser (e.g., Chrome or Edge).

1.1 Version Select

Your browser does not support installing things on ESP devices. Use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

How to use

  1. Connect the device to your computer via USB.
  2. Put it in bootloader mode (USB device ID 303a:1001):
    • to force bootloader mode, keep the IO0 (BOOT) button pressed while plugging in the USB cable
    • or keep the IO0 (BOOT) button pressed while briefly pressing the reset button
  3. Click the "Connect and Install" button above.
  4. Select your device from the browser's serial port prompt.
  5. Follow the pop-up instructions to start the installation.
  6. After it's done, you may need to press the "RST" or "reset" button on your device to restart normally. (or you just unplug and replug your device)

2. Wi-Fi Setup

The ESP32-S3 broadcasts its own Wi-Fi network

2.1 Direct Wi-Fi Access Point

When you connect your phone to the ESP32-S3 Wi-Fi network and open 

http://192.168.4.1
in your mobile browser, you get a mobile interface allowing you to:

  • Stream Web Radio: One-tap buttons for Lofi Radio, Jazz Lounge, Classic Hits, or any custom MP3 web radio stream URL.
  • Wireless MP3 File Upload: Upload .mp3 files wirelessly from your phone straight into the SD card without removing the SD card!
  • Full Media Controls: Remote control Play, Pause, Next, Previous, and Volume directly from your phone.
  • Real-Time Track Display: See the currently playing track title & artist synced live with the ESP32-S3 screen.
