The current SMT32-S3 mp3 player runs stable and reliably. My next step is to build a model with a different look and a bigger screen. This approach offers several advantages — the most woulf be, being lower cost, and the second a much faster boot time. By switching platforms, the startup time will be reduced from about 30 seconds to just 2 seconds.

Putting the hardware together requires only basic tools like a screwdriver, soldering iron, and wire crimper. Once built, you just add your favorite MP3s to your SD Card and insert it into the SMT32-S3.
